Online Certified Unit of CPE/Training January 8 - May 21, 2026
The Next Online Unit Begins January 8, 2026 (ends on May 21, 2026) on Zoom.
This is a twenty-week program that meets four hours online on Thursday evenings.
Individual sessions with the Supervisor are scheduled weekly for personal growth and development.
The application must be submitted two weeks before start of the program and each Student/Intern must have a pre-acceptance interview. There is a Non-refundable Application Fee of $95.00.
Cost for the Certified Unit: $1200.00.

The CPSP, Inc. certifies this post-graduate, community/parish based training for parish pastors, institutional chaplains, and pastoral counselors committed to pastoral psychotherapy. and laypersons interested in developing pastoral care competence .
CPSP is a theologically-based community offering accreditation and certification to individuals and programs that meet standards of expertise in clinical chaplaincy, as well as pastoral counseling. CPSP has affiliate membership with the Association of Theological Schools and is a full member of the Coalition on Ministry in Specialized Settings (COMISS)
A unit of study and training requires 400 hours of hands-on ministry, which includes group and individual sessions where reflection and feedback on the work is reviewed in a peer group. Pastors, chaplains and lay persons interested in applying for this program of study should contact this office as soon as possible.
